Alexis Lantgen is a writer and musician who loves Renaissance Faires and classical music. Her short story, "Earth is for Earthers," was recently published in Red Sun Magazine, and she has a story forthcoming in the 4th Spectral Book of Horror Stories. She has also had articles published in Renaissance Magazine, including "Medieval Plainsong" and "Trobairitz: The Voices of Medieval Women." In addition to her personal blog, she writes for the blog at Polonius Sheet Music. One of her short stories is published in The Magical Muse: A Collection of Fantasy Stories (DKC Contest Anthology Book 1). Alexis teaches middle school science, and she plays violin and viola in local symphonies. She lives with her husband, her adorable, spirited daughter, and their very patient cats in Dallas, TX.
